Grating Formation with Shaped Femtosecond Laser Pulses in Fe:LiNbO3 for Two-wave Mixing Amplification

Abstract

We investigate grating formation in Fe:LiNbO3 crystals by 800 nm femtosecond laser pulses for application of two-wave mixing amplification of shaped femtosecond laser pulses. Gratings were recorded by two-photon absorption and two-step excitation process.
