Abstract

In this tutorial we will give an overview of different techniques for dispersion compensation in amplifiers. We will describe linear passive and active techniques and also non- linear techniques. Through different systems we will illustrate the advantages of these techniques and show several examples of high-intensity laser facilities that are using them.
