Designing AO retinal imaging systems for real world uses: issues and limitations

Abstract

Adaptive Optics retinal imaging systems are starting to reach a level of maturity that allows development of systems specialized for different purposes. In this talk I will present some of the issues that arise when considering systems research use with clinical patients, and compare and contrast three AO scanning systems we have developed.
