Analytic Theory of Light Reflection from a Chirped Volume Bragg Grating

Abstract

We present and study solutions of the equations for counter-propagating waves coupled by Chirped Bragg Gratings (CBG). Analytic expression for amplitude and phase of reflection is found, confirming the results of numerical modeling of CBG.
