Abstract

A passively mode-locked Erbium-doped figure-eight fiber laser is continuously wavelength-tunable over a range from 1525 to 1555 nm using a fiber interferometer, with an autocorrelation trace of 3.1 ps and pulse spectrum of 1.5 nm.
