Transparent Conducting Oxide (TCO) Electrode Based Organic Electro-optic (EO) Modulator with Ultra High Switching Voltage-Size Performance

Abstract

Initial result of a TCO electrode based organic electro-optic modulator with new device structure which can achieve sub-1v, sub-1cm length is reported. High frequency structure design and simulation for 40GHz operation are discussed.
