Extraction of individual Soliton from a set by using a Nonlinear Optical Loop Mirror

Abstract

The technique utilizes the pulse breakup effect to generate a set of solitons from which one highest soliton is extracted by the NOLM. High contrast at the NOLM output can be achieved.
