High Efficiency Solar Cells for Large-Scale Electricity Generation

Abstract

The photovoltaic industry has been growing exponentially at an average rate of about 35%/year since 1979. Recently, multijunction concentrator cell efficiencies have surpassed 40%. Combined with concentrating optics, these can be used for electricity generation. Article not available.
