Abstract

A surface emitting polymer dye laser is fabricated by nanoimprint lithography. The laser cavity consists of a 2nd-order circular grating distributed-feedback structure. This nanoimprinted dye laser offers a low-cost coherent light source for lab-on-chip microsystems.
