Azimuth or Radial polarized beams from axially sampled circularly polarized vortex beams

Abstract

A laser beam with circular polarization can be converted into cylindrical vector beams by a micro-fabricated spiral phase plate (SPP) and an azimuthal-type linear analyzer. This provides simple polarization conversion via a compact optical path.
