Biochemical sensor based on a resonant microcavity

Abstract

Monoclonal antibodies, which recognize a single binding site on their target antigen, were used to sensitize the surface of ultra-high Q resonators. Experiments verifying the sensitivity and specificity of the microcavities were performed.
