Abstract

A variety of Polarisation-Maintaining non-linear Sagnac loops are compared, in terms of temporal resolution and contrast, to perform high-performance optical gating at 1053-1064nm. Resolutions in the range 500fs - 3ps are demonstrated with optical contrasts in excess of 30dB.
