Linear and Nonlinear Localization of Light in Light-Induced Lattices

Abstract

We provide a brief overview of our recent work on linear and nonlinear localization of light in optically-induced photonic structures, including nonlinear self-trapping of discrete solitons and photonic bandgap guidance in lattices with structured defects.
