A Slow-Light Fourier-Transform Interferometer

Abstract

We propose a new type of Fourier-transform interferometer based on a tunable slow- light medium. Such a FT-interferometer requires no moving arm, can have very fine spectral resolution, and is more compact than a conventional FT-interferometer.
