Color Appearance and Imaging Quality in Videophone with Free-form optics

Abstract

Imaging performance and color rendering property of a free-form optical prism that plays camera lens and projection display are investigated. Complementary designs in photoptic and scotopic environments are developed for superior color adaptation and optimization.
