Disorder-Tolerant Waveguides in Magneto-Optical Photonic Crystals

Abstract

We explore back-scattering suppression in 2D magneto-optical photonic-crystal waveguides. A nonreciprocal waveguide is side-coupled to a coupled-resonator optical waveguide, where at certain frequency range the forward- and the backward-traveling waves are spatially separated.
