Superfluorescence in Distyryl Benzene Single Crystals

Abstract

Laser action has been detected in distyryl benzene thin films and single crystals. Whereas amplified spontaneous emission prevails in thin films, we found, however that superfluorescence dominates the stimulated emission in single crystals.
