Effect of a Submicrometric Periodical Patterning of Photovoltaic Solar Cells on the Device Efficiency

Abstract

A submicrometric periodical patterning of the surface of an organic solar cell is investigated towards optimisation of the photovoltaic conversion efficiency. Patterning is achieved using an original technique based on photoinduced mass transport in azopolymer films.
