From macro to micro: methodological and design considerations for biophoton imaging

Abstract

We present results of parametric studies for imaging photon fluxes of tens to hundreds of photons/cm2/sec requiring sensitive design and methodological parameters to obtain consistent image quality over a large range of fields of view.
