Determining the Transport Mean-Free-Path in Nd: YAG Ceramics

Abstract

In order to characterize the scattering in sintered Nd-YAG ceramics, we studied the photon transport mean free path lt using several experimental techniques based on the transmission measurements, reflection measurements, and the coherent backscattering.
