Polarization-Shaping Using Space-Variant Subwavelength Gratings

Abstract

Space-variant polarization-shaping obtained with subwavelength gratings is presented. We experimentally demonstrated vectorial Bessel beams, rotating vectorial vortices, spatialpolarization state scrambling for image encryption and space-variant polarization manipulation of thermal emission supporting surface phonon-polariton.
