Abstract

Fully fiber based polarization sensitive Spectral/Fourier Domain Optical Coherence Tomography (PS-SD/FD-OCT) will be presented that allows for high speed characterization of tissue polarization properties including relative optic axis orientation, birefringence, and diattenuation. Quantification of retinal nerve fiber layer and skin collagen birefringence will be demonstrated using the SD/FD-OCT approach.
