Abstract

The studied system is formed by a metallic thin film between two infinite dielectric media, such as a prism and vacuum. The light is impinging the system by the prism side. In this configuration, it is possible to excite surface plasmons at the surface metal/vacuum at angles grater than the critical one. Some nano defects are considered at this surface.
