Empirical model for evolution of dissociation transients detected with four-wave mixing and atomic wavepackets

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

An atomic wavepacket in concert with four-wave mixing serves as a detector of molecular dissociation. Dissociation transients are modeled by an analogy with a "diffusion-drift" process. Model parameters are described and determined. Results of the modeling, which agree well with the experimental observations, are discussed. Full-text article is not available.
