Photon echo studies of conjugated polymers

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

The interplay between conjugation length and conformational disorder has a profound effect on the photophysics of polymer systems. From three pulse photon echo (3PE) studies, the coupling of nuclear motion to electronic transitions in MEH-PPV and a model oligomer is found to be instrumental in relaxation.
