Design of a Low Loss Bragg Fiber with High Negative Dispersion for the TE01 Mode

Abstract

We report design of a defect-free air-core Bragg fiber to achieve high negative dispersion with a very high estimated FOM for the lowest order TE mode in the 1550 nm band. It should be useful as an efficient dispersion compensator.
