Abstract

Using ‘Quasi-State’ design formed by four-mode interference, wavelength demultiplexer for 1.3 and 1.5 μm, designed to be about 1/5 of ordinary device length, is analyzed to have good error tolerance of width variation as well as good extinction ratio of 24 dB for both operating wavelengths.
