Abstract

We designed a compact 940/1550-nm wavelength demultiplexer using the self-collimation phenomenon of 2-dimensional photonic crystal. In our device, the incident light through the incident waveguide, which is tilted at fixed angle, is refracted with a particular angle at boundary of photonic crystal.
