Ince-Gaussian Modes of Stable Laser Resonators

Abstract

We present the Ince-Gaussian modes that are a new complete family of exact and orthogonal solutions of the paraxial wave equation in elliptic coordinates and are natural resonating modes of stable laser resonators.
