Noise-reduced fiber sensor for the measurement of magnetic fields and electric current

Abstract

We developed a high resolution, noise-reducing fiber sensor system for the measurement of electric current carried by a power cable. The experimental results show that the output signal is free from electrical noise and insensitive to the fluctuation of laser source.
