Single mode, visible white-light supercontinuum in normally dispersive fiber

Abstract

A dual wavelength pumping scheme is proposed to efficiently suppress cascaded Raman scattering in normally dispersive fiber. The scheme is applied to the generation of a single mode, white-light source extending from 375 to 700 nm.
