Grating interaction with supercontinuum light in microstructure fiber

Abstract

We report study of supercontinuum generation and propagation through microstructure fiber modified by UV-imprinted fiber Bragg gratings. Local power enhancements were observed as the result of dominant grating dispersion at wavelengths close to the Bragg resonance.
