Abstract

A 16° Si-wedge DOAP beam splitter at 1.55 µm wavelength is presented. 163-nm SiO2 coating on the entrance face achieves 90° phase difference in reflection and transmission at 73° incidence, and the determinant of the instrument matrix is 0.78 of its theoretical maximum. The exit face is antireflection-coated with 208-nm Si3N4 film.
