Abstract
Instrumentation is developed for real-time determination of photodynamic therapy dosimetry in vivo, employing measurements of fluorescence emission spectra corrected for effects of dynamic tissue optical properties using white light diffuse reflectance. This system accurately measures photosensitizer photobleaching, photoproduct formation, and tissue oxygenation, all of which are useful as dose metrics.
