Abstract

As a tunable pumping source for two-photon fluorescence microscopy of various functional fluorescence proteins, adaptively controlled white light continuum generation is demonstrated with microstructure fibers. Arbitrarily selected more than two spectral components are enhanced in the continuum spectrum to efficiently excite different fluorescence proteins.
