Field statistics of localized waves within a one-dimensional waveguide

Abstract

We present measurements of field spectra along the length of one -dimensional samples consisting of randomly posit ioned dielectric slabs placed in a rectangular waveguide with a slit along its length. This provides the spatial field profile as a function of frequency and time delay.
