Polarization-dependent characterization of scattering media using intensity correlations

Abstract

Polarized light transport through randomly scattering media is studied using second and third order correlations of speckle patterns in frequency. The measured data provide information on the scattering properties of the medium. In the appropriate regime, a diffusion model satisfactorily describes the polarized light transport.
