Abstract

A series of high resolution retinal imaging experiments have been conducted by a 37 element adaptive optical system with a small PZT deformable mirror. Imaging at different wavelengths and axial positions, high resolution images of photo receptors and capillaries of human retina were obtained, including abnormal images of unhealthy eyes.
