Abstract

Direct, label-free detection of antibody-antigen binding has been demonstrated, using surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) on nanostructured adaptive metal films. This includes evidence of distinct spectral changes upon antigen binding as well as independent biochemical validation studies which confirm that the antibodies remain in an active state on our adaptive substrates.
