Abstract

We prove the EPRs inequalities allow distinguishing (experimentally) entanglement from classical correlation in momentum and position variables for two particles/photons systems. We discuss the connection between EPR inequalities and uncertainty principle and conclude that only entanglement allows going beyond the limitations imposed by Heisenberg uncertainty on classically correlated systems.
