Integrated Optoelectronics for Massively-Parallel Chip-to-Chip Interconnects

Abstract

The use of VCSEL-based optoelectronics for self-routing chip-to-chip interconnects is presented. By monolithically incorporating WDM, these integrated switching modules have the potential to provide massively parallel interconnects.
