Abstract

Utilizing a programmable liquid crystal spatial light modulator and SPIDER a technique is demonstrated for correcting arbitrary spectral phase aberrations in a single iteration with no reference pulse. The setup has shown promise for correcting dynamic spectral phase changes, compressing complicated pulses from nearly picosecond length back to near transform-limited pulses.
