Abstract

There is significant interest in technologies capable of identifying high-risk coronary atherosclerotic plaques. We describe a recent intracoronary optical coherence tomography study conducted in a cohort of 69 patients. Our results demonstrate that certain plaque features, characteristic of high-risk lesions, are more prevalent in patients with acute coronary artery disease.
