Abstract

Multiple pass cavities (MPC) can be used to dramatically enhance the pulse energy performance of femtosecond lasers as well as to make very compact laser designs. This presentation describes fundamental design principles and experimental results for several femtosecond lasers including high pulse energy, low threshold, and compact laser designs.
