Abstract
Faraday Rotation (FR) for II-VI semiconductor quantum dots (QDs) are studied in magnetic fields up to 2.63T. Kinks in the FR were found, with a linear relationship between the QD sizes and the strengths of the fields at which they occurred. An explanation for the findings is given, based upon the occupation of Landau Levels, and the fact that the findings were seen at room temperature is suggested to be due to the extreme confinement drastically increasing the energies of the Landau Levels.
