Quantum engineering for spatial control of entangled two-photon states

Abstract

We put forward several techniques to engineer the spatial structure of entangled two-photon states in spontaneous parametric down-conversion, namely the direct manipulation of the pump beam, quasi-phase-matching engineering and the use of highly non-collinear configurations.
