Second harmonic longitudinal field imaging

Abstract

It is known that focused radially polarized beams possess a longitudinal field component[1, 2]. This field at focus, fig. 1, has a narrower full width at half maximum (FWHM) than the dominant linearly polarized field component from a focused linearly polarized beam[2, 3].
