Abstract

Understanding light scattering by inhomogeneous non-spherical particles is crucial to model light transport in biological tissues. However, an analytical technique that could allow such analysis has not been developed. We present a novel analytical approach that may enable accurate modeling of light scattering by highly inhomogeneous and non-spherical particles.
