Common path interferometry using one-dimensional cosine and binary phase filters

Abstract

We discuss a spatial filtering interferometry setup employing a cosine and a binary spatial filters. The input plane is formed by two separated windows. By using the appropriate frequency and orientation of the filter, the interference pattern of the two input fields appears in the output plane of the system.
