Transmittance Characteristics of Thermo-optic Tunable Filters for WDM application

Abstract

Thermo-optic tunable filter, with 4-pairs of H/L layers for DBR, is designed and fabricated. The tuning efficiency was measured to be 0.144nm/K-1, because the tuning range was 9.4nm during the temperature variation of 64.7oC.
